Absolutely blown away by these adverts, just shows the stresses and bravery that goes with the job. Check them out and comment below what you think. Be safe out there, Admin DB
(From Adweek) Police often find themselves in high-stress, high-stakes scenarios—facing unruly drunken mobs, drivers stuck in cars about to explode and knife-wielding maniacs.
This series of videos from ad agency Brain Candy for the Scottish Police Federation, a professional trade group, wants you to consider how you’d handle yourself in a cop’s shoes. The ads work hard to build the sort of suspense that will actually make you feel uncomfortable. They do a pretty good job of it, too—particularly the first brutal spot below.
The personal details about the officers help anchor the ads. The only question is whether they could have done it a little more quickly. The ads clock in at between 1:45 and 2:30, which means what you might do is nod off before they get to the kicker.
Warning: These ads contain violence and may be upsetting.
And to think I still do this for free lol
Wow simply wow!
PFEW sit up and take notice. Scotland aren’t being dry fisted like us down south! Do something with my subs.
Me too Dan!
im a film maker and i have to say that those are the best police videos i have seen….. Well filmed and edited plus very relevant.
This is bit tame compared to the reality in my experience
Utmost respect for our courageous Police officers. Take care.
I agree Ian, but still the best ive seen up to now.
Gave me goose bumps…. The reason I left the force…. My body couldn’t take anymore physical harm, good to get these vids out there x
Policing should never be done without some type of lethal force available. Granted, American policing is a different animal but knives and guns are deadly nevertheless on the other side of the pond.
hard hitting!!!!!!!
Wow very hard hitting. Utmost respect.
These are good. Really hard hitting and more like what the job is. And why I am a special but want to join full time England and Wales take note.
Very good videos, now we have to ensure that the guys & gals, are more aware of self protection before they enter / deal with similar incidents, draw the baton before entering the premises.
Great watchword ” SELF PRESERVATION”
Stay safe out there.

Having family in the Force, these videos just fill me with dread. Utmost respect and admiration for those who choose this difficult career. Meanwhile society rewards and admires pointless celebrities, footballers and the like!
I’m so glad you are not in the police anymore Lisa Chafer, and you had a big dog when you were in it. Great adverts, but very upsetting.
Bottom line is that is what Officers are faced with… Day to day. I used to be be grateful enough to call myself one,and I sadly accepted the pitfalls.. But to ALL WHO STILL SERVE.. my love….
